Software Engineer

My 2023 summer internship project at Amazon focused on software engineering solutions to automate big data problems. I worked under the web infra team in the Alexa AI org, where my project expanded large-scale data searches and transfers used for AI processing. I designed and implemented a batched SQL join algorithm using Amazon AWS services like EMR, EC2, S3, and DynamoDB, with a tech stack comprised of Apache Spark, Parquet, Delta Lake, Scala, and Java. I successfully completed all milestones and stretch goals of this project in my 3 months at Amazon!
